Get to know the people around you. Join groups *cough* like the WCA *cough.*

If you're around campus tonight, there is a mixer starting at 5 PM. Look for the WCA, we will be there. Also- look for some new friends and colleagues, they'll be there too.

There is also a mixer being held at The Lab-- a place with which you should become familiar while at USC-- and that's being held by the USC Graduate Council at 6PM. That's another group you should join.

Be sure to check the WCA Twitter account, there shall be tweets tweeting from these events...a little bird told me so.
